Turnagain Arm Special Tour
The Seward Highway National Scenic Byway, the most beautiful scenic drive in the country, awaits us on the Turnagain Arm. Salmon Berry Tours will pick you up at your hotel and head south. A professional Alaska tour guide will tell you all about the area and share personal knowledge of Alaska on the way to Mt. Alyeska. Go with your guide to the top for a delicious lunch (included in the tour!) – this trip is fully guided, even up the mountain! After taking in the views and the Roundhouse Museum, descend the tram and continue on the tour south.
Next stop is the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, a locally-owned, non-profit rescue and rehabilitation center. Your guide will introduce you to the Alaskan animals living there including bears, moose, elk, caribou, owls, and more! Enjoy these animals in their natural habitat among glaciers and mountain peaks. Travel back into Anchorage and keep your eyes open for mountain goats and beluga whales!
