The Skwenta Sampler: 2010 Iditarod Tour

Follow the mushers from the ceremonial start in Anchorage to the official start in Willow. Then take a flight to Skwentna where you will watch as your favorite mushers travel through the checkpoint, sign in and keep on mushing! After a night in Skwentna you will head back to Willow for a relaxing evening in Anchorage.
This package includes three nights lodging, some meals, the Arctic Welcome Pack, airport transfers, booking services, Sunday's starting line in Willow, flights to and from Skwentna Roadhouse as well as guided transportation from Willow by a local Salmon Berry Tours guide.

*Ceremonial Start of the 2010 Iditarod
Enjoy a stay at a local bed and breakfast located just walking distance from the Ceremonial Start of the 2010 Iditarod! Enjoy a great Alaska meal- we'll make you reservations at one of our favorites! Visit us on 3rd Avenue to warm up with hot chocolate and coffee.

We will pick you up at your bed and breakfast and greet you with sourdough-sized, homemade pastries and hot beverages for your ride up north. Our destination is the Official Restart of the Iditarod! Enjoy your VIP treatment, including a drop off with your guide at the gates, homemade lunch provided by the Salmon Berry team, and transportation to the Willow airport to board a small plane to Skwentna Checkpoint. Enjoy a free dinner in Skwentna and lodging in a rustic Alaskan roadhouse!

Wake up to a Skwentna Roadhouse special breakfast and get on the road to the airport to catch your flight back into Willow. Here, a Salmon Berry Tours guide will be there to guide you back into Anchorage so you can enjoy some Fur Rendezvous Winter Festival activities or have a relaxing evening at your bed and breakfast.
