Northern Lights Late-Night Special

There is nothing so special as a dark, snowy night in Alaska.  Plan on staying up late tonight!  Your professional Salmon Berry guide will pick you up and drive you safely to Talkeetna, a quaint little Alaskan town where winter is done right!  Once in Talkeetna we'll head straight to the historic Talkeetna Roadhouse where proprietor Trisha and her trusty bakers cook up homemade soups, breads, and desserts.  We'll hang out in front of the fire with our tasty eats and enjoy the evening.  If you prefer, we can add "The Star Lady" to the evening.  This local expert on the skies will come and fill you in on all the crazy stuff going on in the Alaskan night sky including the Northern Lights, constellations, and why and how the sky looks different from here.  Packed with this extra knowledge, we'll head out for a wintery snowshoe tour of the area, heading out to the river to see if we can catch the real Northern Lights!  This will be a night to remember for sure.
