Anchorage Eco Tour

Description, Itinerary, Tour Map, Details, Cancellation Policy, Travel Insurance

Take an eco tour within Anchorage city limits! This naturalist led afternoon tour explores Anchorage’s ecological treasures that include a guided walk through Alaska Botanical Garden’s boreal forest trails, a look into the fish that shape the fortunes and ecosystem of Alaska at the William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery, and finishing off with a chance to observe birds and plant species in an estuary bordering Cook Inlet in the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge.

Learn about the varied flora and fauna that make living here such an adventure! Walk in the woods through Alaska’s largest city, and let the fresh air spark your curiosity.

During the tour, we will activate all of our senses with sustainably-harvested wild Alaskan Chaga tea and Alaska salmon jerky in the fragrant gardens. Enjoy complimentary snacks and water while you ride in comfort through Anchorage’s green belt!

Salmon Berry Tours recommends travel insurance provided by TravelSafe Insurance. Salmon Berry Tours is not affiliated with TravelSafe Insurance, nor do we offer any special discounts with them. Our recommendation is based on positive guest feedback. In particular, the experience of one Salmon Berry Tours guest is instructive:

Our guest had booked the vacation of a lifetime and the ultimate Alaska package. She had to cancel the trip a week before it began due to unfortunate circumstances.

She later told us that within ten minutes of phone time her claim was processed in full. She was very pleased with TravelSafe Insurance's immediate and empathetic response. Getting a refund for her trip was the last thing she wanted to think about, and TravelSafe Insurance took care of her needs and concerns immediately.
