Hi, I’m Bill. Yes, I am 6′ 6″ tall.  No, I wasn’t good at basketball growing up. 😉
Alaska has been my home since elementary school, and moving us here was the best thing my dad did for us. I raised my son here, and now my grandkids.  I am an avid skier, fisherperson and boater. I even built boats for a time. My family and I love biking in all seasons, camping, hiking, skiing, and these days I get to spend my working hours sharing the things that I love with our visitors. Best job ever!

Favorite Place in Alaska

Prince William Sound when I’m boating. There are endless places to beach and explore, with unlimited peace and connection with nature.

Favorite Tour

Our Glacier Walk on Matanuska Glacier. Nothing compares to actually walking out onto the glacier, seeing the ice formations changing every day, and pondering the thousands of feet of ice below you and all around you. It’s incredible.
