John – Alaskan Glacier Guide
Glacier Guide
Welcome! I look forward to showing you some of our favorite places in Alaska. I’m originally from Southern California. I’ve worked in the software industry and aviation among other things. But freeways and computer software have a lot in common. They’re both fast and have circuits that go on forever. I stepped away from both about fifteen years ago to pursue other interests and to devote more time to being in the outdoors. I am now a Wilderness First Responder and Glacier Guide. I love to hike, fly, and meet people from all over the world. Come along, exit the fast lane, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. There’s still more to see!

Favorite Place in Alaska
Denali National Park. Magnetic. Flying near the peak is like being in the world’s most awesome cathedral. The park is preserved for all, especially the wildlife, which rewards visitors with a beauty and mystery unlike anywhere else.
