Hello!

I spent my childhood in Juneau and Valdez, my playground being the natural setting in those small towns in Alaska. After moving out of state for my adolescent years, I returned to work a seasonal summer job in the fishing industry – 42 years later I am still here!

I live in Anchorage with my wife, where we raised two sons, also both still in Alaska. I recently retired from my job of 30 years producing a statewide newspaper. I also worked as a flight attendant, flying in and out of the Bristol Bay region, upper Aluetian islands and Alaska’s Interior. Nothing makes me happier than to share my love for Alaska – scenery, wildlife, the people and stories that shape this place.
