Harrison
Specialty Guide
Harrison’s first adventure in Alaska was in 2014 when he rode his bicycle and lived on his bike for six weeks while biking all over Alaska. During that ride, Harrison fell in love with the wilderness and the people of Alaska and wanted to come back to live and work in Alaska. Harrison, a photographer and aurora enthusiast, leads multi-day trips in the midnight sun of summer and chases the northern lights all winter as an Aurora guide in Fairbanks. Harrison has a very eclectic resume. Growing up in Wisconsin, Harrison moved to Los Angeles to attend film school and work in the entertainment industry as a post-production supervisor. At the Upright Citizen Brigade Theatre, Harrison performed improv and hosted a weekly comedy show. Harrison worked behind the scenes on The Price is Right and toured with Drew Carey as his opening act.
Harrison began as a guide giving day tours in Los Angeles. As a seeker of adventure, he biked from Alaska to Florida. His love for the outdoors and people lead him to guide multi-week trips across the country, camping at National Parks and visiting major US cities. Today Harrison calls Alaska home, and it couldn’t be a better match.
