Glacier Guide
As the saying goes, “It’s not the Destination, but the journey along the way”. I have been living in Alaska for 39 years and not a day goes by that I am not reminded of the reasons I came here. The scenic beauty, the mountains, the glaciers, the wildlife. These were all things I expected. What I didn’t expect was the warm welcoming spirit of the people who live here. I like to share this this welcoming spirit with every guest I greet and go beyond their expectations. Going beyond expectations may be keeping alert for wildlife and getting our guests that candid wildlife photo or an extra scenic stop or just sharing stories of life in this very special land that I call home, Alaska.
Favorite tour. Cruise ship transfers in the summer. I think, mile for mile, the 128 mile tour between Anchorage and Seward showcases the best most diverse beauty Alaska has to offer. In the winter, Dog mushing of course!
Favorite Place, In the words of Iditarod Musher, Martin Buser, “ My favorite place on the trail is the place I am at right now, my favorite dog is the dog I am with right now, my favorite checkpoint is the checkpoint that I am at right now.
